PACT International Programme

A rich Catholic ethos imbues the entire life of the school

Get to know our
International Programme

Each year we accept applications from overseas students age 9-18 years
to participate in our fully immersive English language experience from between 1 term to 2 years studying at Fidelis College.

Success of the Programme is based on a rigorous and challenging school
life which includes a personal tutorial system alongside full integration into host family life.

Fidelis College follows a traditional English Catholic liberal curriculum
which includes English, maths, science, modern languages, religious
studies, sports, art, music and drama. In addition to the regular curriculum followed, students receive additional English as a foreign language classes to help prepare them for The Cambridge Exam which they will usually sit during their stay.

Pupils will study alongside both domestic British students and overseas
students from many different countries including France, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Hungary, Mexico and Chile.

Top 10

In addition to attending a TOP 10 Catholic school students are fully integrated in the life of their host family. All PACT International students take part in the school’s Character Development Programme which uses a tutorial system aimed at bringing out the best in each person.

Catholic Ethos

The school’s Catholic ethos is manifested in the conviction that, in the words of St John Henry Newman, God has created us “to do Him some definite service”. At the centre of school life is an effort to help each person involved with the school to take their faith seriously by living it in their own particular circumstances.

The school chapel is always open and mass is celebrated each day. The sacrament of Recociliation is made available frequently. The school chaplains are priests of Opus Dei, a personal prelature of The Catholic Church.

Personal Tutor

Each pupil is assigned to an experienced school tutor who will meet with them regularly to encourage them to develop and maximise this great opportunity.

THE FIDELIS EXCELLENCE PROGRAMME

The Fidelis Excellence Programme brings together the successful Arete and Eudaimonia programmes. Drawing on the strengths of our existing experienced tutors Fidelis College aims to help pupils achieve excellence by providing personalised support for both their academic studies as well as their social life forging a compass for life.

“Forge an exceptional future, the immersion that will change your child’s life in London”

Miss Nuria Font,
our PACT International Manager

Nuria is a mother of eight children who have all benefitted from attending a PACT school, many of them at our present site. Nuria has a wealth of experience and has been managing PACT International for the last 10 years. She will liase between you and both the host family and school when necessary. Nuria always goes above and beyond to ensure that your son or daughter has the happiest of stays at PACT International.

Host Family

Nuria personally selects the host families, most of whom have been hosting students for PACT International for many years. Many of the host families have children in Fidelis College and Nuria makes every possible effort to match your child with a family who have children of a similar age. As students stay for greater than 28 days hosting is termed “A Private Fostering Arrangement” which is arranged by PACT International and the local council on your behalf. Stringent safeguarding policies are adhered to. Nuria’s natural motherly empathy and charm help your child to settle into their new family life very quickly.
